Theatre Design Services, LLC provides theatre consulting services to architects and owners on new construction, renovation, and adaptive reuse projects. Consulting services are based upon a practicing understanding of prevailing IBC, NFPA, and NEC building codes relating to places of assembly, specifically theaters.

Why hire a Theatre Consultant?
The theatre consultant is a crucial member of the design team when the project is a place of assembly for performing arts. Theatre systems (lifts, rigging, stage lighting, etc.) are complex, project-specific, and must be coordinated with other work (architecture, structure, mechanical, and electrical).
